Christmas Day at The GnD

Hi,

We’ve taken the decision to close The George & Dragon on Christmas Day this year and for the foreseeable.

It’s a move away from what previous tenants have done but we believe it’s the right one.

Our team gives everything all year round, often while the rest of the world is relaxing. They deserve the day off to spend time with loved ones, recharge and enjoy Christmas properly.

And let’s be honest, most places charge a fortune and rarely deliver the kind of experience that feels worth it. It’s not fun to work and it’s not the standard we hold ourselves to.

Thanks for your understanding and for supporting a team-first approach to hospitality. 🎄

However, I will personally be opening the bar for 1 hour or so from 11.30 for those who wish to share a drink before their lunch.
