Sankey's Seafood Restaurant and Bar in Tunbridge Wells.

Since opening in 1989 as a traditional white tablecloth restaurant, Sankey’s has continually evolved with the times, and now the moment has come to do so once again.

We are thrilled to announce that funding has been secured to redevelop the site and completely reimagine the future of Mount Ephraim. Work will begin very soon and, as a result, the restaurant will temporarily close on Sunday The 31st of May in its current form, ahead of a relaunch planned for autumn.

This is an opportunity to refresh, reposition, and create something designed for the next generation of hospitality. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such loyal guests, an exceptional team, and the
support of the vibrant Mount Ephraim community behind us. Some of our greatest memories have been made within these walls, and over the coming weeks, we would love for you to share yours with us too.
While the building takes a short sabbatical, our team will be redeployed across our other venues, so we look forward to welcoming you throughout the summer at The Old Fishmarket on The Pantiles and The George & Dragon, Speldhurst.

To all of you who have worked at Sankey’s over the years, and to everyone who has dined with us, celebrated with us, and supported us along the way.
