Although some like to call this the most wonderful time of the year, with temperatures dropping we find it hard to see the appeal compared to those warm summer days spent tucking into a few fish straight off the barbecue with a cocktail in hand. For those of you who still prefer to brave the elements though, you’ll be glad to hear we’ve kitted out our outdoor spaces both at the Seafood Kitchen & Bar as well as the Old Fishmarket. ‘Brave’ perhaps isn’t the most suitable of words though, as you’ll find just as much comfort out in the fresh air as you would inside.

The Old Fishmarket – Your glass of Squerryes sparkling wine may be chilled, but you won’t be thanks to the combination of freshly prepared dishes and our reliable line up of heaters. Top things off with a cosy sheepskin rug on every seat, and you’ll be dining blissfully while taking in the magical surroundings we have here on the Pantiles during the festive season.

Seafood Kitchen & Bar – If you’ve been paying attention to our social channels, this blog, or, even better, visiting our Mount Ephraim site on a regular basis, you’ll know we’ve been in the process of transforming our terrace space to make it better than ever. Unfortunately this area will be closed between the 22nd and 30th of November, however that’s only so we can have it fully ready for you lovely lot come the turn of the month.

Seek shelter underneath our fully retractable roof, raise the temperatures next to one of our several heaters, and rest your legs on the brand-new furniture that’ll be adorning our exterior environment. Don’t forget you can also order food out here too, so there’ll always be something to warm up your stomach as well!

We know it can be easy settling down in your usual spot whenever you dine with us, but why not mix things up on your next visit to Sankey’s and take things outside? You’ll be pleasantly surprised, and it’s the perfect way to enjoy the Autumnal and Wintery experiences this time of year brings.
