The Seafood Brasserie & Oyster Bar

Our Seafood Brasserie & Oyster Bar specializes in the freshest wet fish & Shellfish from around the british coast both direct and from our very own Fishmongers.  Oysters from Colchester, Crabs & Lobsters from Cornwall, Mussels and Haddock from Scotland along with the very best day boat fish from the southern coast line are on the menu daily, with all dishes prepared in our own kitchen headed up by Frenchman Jack Petit and his team.  The atmosphere is informal, relaxed yet personal and our york stone cellar creates the perfect setting to enjoy our cuisine, with a lunch time bistro style menu starting from £6.50, starters from £5.50, mains from £9.95 we feel our menu caters for every occasion.

Sustainabilty is high on the agenda with no stone unturned to enure all our seafood comes from a responsible source.  Because of this attitude Sankey's has been recognised by fish2fork.com (from the producers of the film 'the end of the line') as the most sustainable seafood retaurant in the UK, soemthing we are truley very proud of.

The Seafood Brasserie & Oyster Bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday Lunch (12-3pm) and Dinner (6-10pm).  We are also open for Mothering Sunday, Fathers day & Easter Sunday, whilst on other Sunday's the Brasserie is closed, the Brasseries' menu goes upstairs into the Pub with its open fire and bar service for a more country pub feel to lunch.

The Seafood Brasserie is also the idea venue for a private party both personal or corporate, ask to speak to Matthew or Sarah for more details.
